Benefits of Camel Lactoferrin

Camel milk has higher levels of lactoferrin than cow or goat.  In fact, it is quite high in immunostimulating properties.  It has been shown to inhibit and block replication of the Hepatitis C virus.  It has the ability to prevent the growth of cancerous cells by binding with iron to prevent DNA damage.  In an Australian research study lactoferrin was able to cut viral infections by as much as 57% and to reduce the severity of viral infections already present and prevent them from being released to other cells.  Lactoferrin stimulates the production of hyaluronic acid which is needed for collagen production, thereby keeping joints flexible.  It also strengthens bones and teeth, and produces a deeper sleep and firmer skin.  Now scientists are finding that lactoferrin is great for weight loss.  Lactoferrin helps the body burn fat and limits the cells from storing excess fat from calories.  It is essential to fat burning.  A recent study revealed that individuals who consumed lactoferrin tended to lose 411% more belly fat than individuals who did not consume lactoferrin!!!  Wow!  The lactoferrin stimulates the growth of good bacteria, such as Lactobacillus acidophilus and bifidobacteria, which lowers the levels of the appetite stimulating hormone, leptin, and results in weight loos.  Just a few glasses of camel milk a day will cut appetite dramatically, satisfy hunger pains, reduce joint pain and give you great skin!  What a bargain!
